Together with a group of seven individuals connected to the Wrocław dance community, the choreographer will present a premiere inaugurating this year’s edition of the Platform. The performance will be created during a series of residency periods taking place from June to September, involving participants selected through an open call. The project responds to the need to strengthen and professionalize the dance and choreography community in Wrocław by creating a space for intensive creative work. It combines the development of individual performance practices with the collective process of creating a stage work.

The project will take on a laboratory-like character, grounded in the participants’ movement research as well as improvisational and compositional structures proposed by Maria Stokłosa. An important element of the process involves practices that develop body awareness, sensitivity to touch, and movement imagination, serving both to build collaboration within the group and to create individual interpretations and a dialogue with the dramaturgy of the performance.
